We were appointed to carry out the total clearance and clean up of a rather cluttered 3 bedroom semi-detached property in Manchester, Greater Manchester. There had been an unattended death in the property, with the body removed from the house 4 weeks after death. The property was very cluttered in almost every room, including the garage and outhouse building.

As the customer lived in London and could not be present, we were advised to collect the keys from a firm of solicitors in Manchester and it took a team of 5 of our men using 2 of our large vans two full days to clear and clean the property.

There was the usual items in the property such as a 3 piece suite, a double bed and a single bed, a dining table and chairs, white goods, TVs, armchairs, cabinets and wall units and then lots and lots of bric-a-brac and junk. We removed 6 bikes, thousands of books, CDs and DVDs, lots of hi-fi and electrical equipment and lots of clothing too.

We recycled 80% of the contents with two local charities each getting a van load of high quality items, clothing and bric-a-brac.
