Nationwide were appointed to carry out the declutter and clean of a 3 bedroom terraced house in Chiswick, London Borough of Hounslow. The property was extremely cluttered, verminous and a body had lay there dead unattended for 3 weeks.

We were no strangers to this particular property having previously decluttered and cleaned it a year or so before after a relative of the now deceased become concerned at the state of the property.

When we first decluttered it we basically removed decaying food waste, empty bottles of alcohol, damaged furniture, pots and pans and old clothing and then we cleaned it.

This time we had to remove all of the above again and a large double mattress which was soiled as the body had lay dead on it for 3 weeks along with carpeting throughout the property which had been soiled with blood, feces and other bodily fluids.

We also had to remove junk from the garage and an old 1990s Peugeot 205.

It took 4 of our experienced and trained unattended death house clearance men 7 full hours to declutter and clean the Chiswick property, cleaning all internal windows, appliances, furniture, some carpets and removing blood and other bodily fluids from the toilet area and bathroom.

The men removed almost a van load of junk and clutter and recycled 40% of the contents, mainly metal, wood, textiles and the vehicle.
