Nationwide were appointed by Modular Systems Ltd on behalf of Caterpillar to demolish and dismantle several walls, 2 office rooms and to also remove two suspended ceiling frameworks, ready for refurbishment in Peterlee, County Durham.

Modular requested 3 of our guys and the job had to be completed in 3 days. Several thousand large heavy bricks were removed along with plasterboard, wood and debris. 100% of this waste was recycled using two 18-yard skips.

Fully uniformed, with hard hats, safety goggles, dust masks, gloves, hi-viz vests and ear plugs, the trained and experienced Nationwide House Clearance guys put their man power to use taking down two offices and the two suspended ceiling frameworks during the first 2 days, loading skip number 1 with over 1,000 bricks.

The 3rd day involved knocking down a 11 meter in length wall which had to be dismantled in stages due to a work-force operating close by. The wall was taken apart using an industrial saw and large hammers. The job was completed by 4.00pm on the 3rd day.
