We were appointed to remove a large quantity of office furniture from a warehouse/unit in Team Valley, Gateshead.

The contents were scattered in and around the large building with several desks, filing cabinets and various shelving units situated upstairs in the mezzanine floor area. Down on ground level there were more desks, filing cabinets and office chairs.

Our fully uniformed men arrived at 9.30am to meet the site supervisor who advised the men to put on their hi-viz jackets and hard boots which they dully obliged.

He then showed the men around the premises detailing what exactly needed removed and what needed to stay. The men decided it would be quicker to clear the upstairs furniture first, bringing it to ground floor level near the main loading area and then bring the rest of the furniture from the ground level to the loading bay.

It took the men 2 hours to load the van with the furniture, making a second trip due to the quantity and weight of the furniture.

In total 15 or so desks, 6 shelving units, 3 filing cabinets, various other office furniture and 9 chairs were removed with 100% recycled.
