Nationwide were appointed to clear a 1 bedroom ground floor property in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. The property was part of a sheltered accommodation court. We also had to remove all fixture and fittings including the carpets.

The men decided to set off earlier than usual due to the snowy conditions and arrived at the court at 8.45am to be greeted by the family of the deceased. When the men got there a lot of items had already been bagged up by the customer with lots of bags marked “tip” and “charity”, the charity items mainly consisted of clothing, bedding etc.

The men removed a large bedroom suite consisting of 3 wardrobes, a set of drawers and 2 bedroom lockers from the bedroom along with a single bed and various other items. From the cupboards the men removed various boxes, bags and other assorted junk.

From the living room the men removed a 2 seater sofa and an armchair along with a wooden wall unit and various other items including a coffee table, a TV stand, a dining table and chairs and other misc items. In the kitchen the cooker and fridge had to stay so the men removed the microwave and all of the bric-a-brac.

Overall it took the men one full van load to clear the property including all of the carpets and underlay, recycling 75% of the contents. In under 2 hours the men had loaded their van, swept up after themselves and got themselves on their merry way, leaving another very happy customer.
