Nationwide were appointed to clear a 1 bedroom apartment in St Ives, Cornwall. 3 of our uniformed and insured men arrived at the property at 9.00am and by 10.00am had everything packed onto the van, ready to recycle.

The men removed a futon sofa bed and a double pine wardrobe along with some clothing and a lamp from the bedroom, while in the living room they removed a large rug, 2 leather sofas, a glass coffee table, a TV and stand, some bric-a-brac, a display unit and some shelving.

From the kitchen the men removed a large silver fridge freezer, a washer, a gas cooker, microwave and various misc house-hold cleaning products. From the hallway they removed a coat stand, a phone table and some clothing.

90% of the house-hold items were recycled, with most going to a local charity shop recommended by the customer.

Because quite a lot of the items were reusable, the men managed to recycle a massive 85% of the contents, donating most of the items to a local charity shop with the rest going to a recycling centre.
