Rotherham void property clearance case study, South Yorkshire
Job description: Void House Clearance Rotherham
Area: South Yorkshire
Property type: 1 bedroom bedsit
Van loads to clear: 1 load
Number of staff: 3
Time taken: 1 hour
How much was recycled: 30%
Nationwide were appointed to clear a 1 bedroom bedsit in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The property was left void by a tenant who wasn’t paying any rent.
We sent 3 of our uniformed and insured men to the small apartment and they were tasked with removing over 15 bags of clothing and other misc junk like newspapers, old magazines, empty food cartons and DVDs.
The men also removed an armchair, a cooker, a fridge, a microwave, kitchen utensils, a rug and sofa bed that was badly soiled.
The property was totally cleared in 1 hour with the men using one van load. 30% of the household contents were recycled, namely some textiles, paper, cardboard and scrap metal.
The DVDs and clean and reusable clothing were donated to a local charity.
This is what the customer had to say about our service:
“The guys sent to carry out the clearance were friendly, smartly dressed and had everything out and loaded on their van within an hour. They made light work of all that junk and clutter and I was very impressed with them I must say. I can safely say I’ll be keeping their contact details for further work in the future.” Mandy Bishop – South Yorkshire
