Nationwide were appointed to clear a 2 bedroom detached house in Rotherfield, East sussex. We also had to clear the loft of items.
We sent 3 of our fully uniformed and licenced property clearance men to carry out the partial clearance and loft junk removal in one of our new lo-loader luton box vans which is capable of carrying up to one tonne of house-hold waste in the back of the vehicle.
On this particular clearance, however, we didn’t quite fill the full van as this was more of a partial clearance than a full one.
The 3 men arrived at 9.30am and were finished in under 2 hours. The men removed a large white leather sofa corner unit from the living room, a book case, a small table and other misc junk.
The men also removed a microwave and other kitchenware. Upstairs the men removed a large double bed and mattress, some draws and from the loft boxes of junk, old VHS tapes, Arsenal football club programmes and other house-hold clutter.
Whenever we carry out a loft clearance we often hoover up afterwards due to dust and grime falling from the loft area and we did that on this clearance.
80% of the contents were recycled with several items donated to a local British Heart Foundation.
